Many people get involved in MLM and they are sold a bill of goods such as get involved with us, talk to your friends, family, and associates and if they all talk to their friends, family, and associates (their network), you will be rich. This is true in a perfect world. However, 95% of the people that join your MLM don’t bring in more than 3 partners. It takes way to long to build a huge network at that pace. It gets time consuming and expensive and you are back to the J-O-B. You may even think this doesn’t work for anyone. Your upline will tell you “it takes time”. Your upline may also tell you: Make dream boards to visualize your goals. Stay positive at all times. Shake off the objections like “isn’t this a pyramid” It’s a numbers game just talk to a lot more people. Buy some leads. Attend more home meetings. Three-way calls Invite, invite, invite. Continue to dream so you can persevere during the tough times.

How much time do you have for all these things if you have to go back to a J-O-B because you are not making money. I believe in some of the suggestions above but you need to succeed faster. You need cash flow. You may have read about people building downlines of 3,000 people in 2 months. Is it possible? I say yes! However anyone who can build that fast is using the internet. After all there are about 1.5 billion people on the internet. As of June 23, 2008 there are about 304 million people in the United States. So there are five times as many people on the internet as in the US. When is the last time you were able to get thousands or even millions of people in front of your product or opportunity? If you get enough internet traffic someone will see your opportunity or product as the one that fits them and it won’t take convincing or sales tactics. How much is enough traffic? Enough for you to succeed that’s how much. It is exciting and fun to get traffic to your website. You’ll wake up to find you have new team members or product sales while you were sleeping. I can personally tell you that is exciting. It’s more exciting than inviting ten people to your house and two of them saying they want to learn more and they will talk to you later. The dream that we always talk about is having your business grow while you sleep. Eventually having your business grow all by itself is the ultimate goal. I read an article that said 90% of Network Marketers are more excited about the free time than the money. Unfortunately most of them never get to that point. To get to that point you should learn about ezines, forums, blogging, and utilizing social networking sites to get people to visit your website. This will take some effort but in the end it will be worth it. The truth is many of you reading this need the traffic right now because you need the money. The other cold hard truth is many of you will never take the time to learn the skills to get internet traffic. So…..

Our team set out to find inexpensive and free methods for marketing on the internet immediately. We wanted to get exposure to our product and opportunity without everyone having to learn what SEO means. Type in free classified ads on a Google search and watch how many hits you get. We spent some time putting ads up and we got some leads. We also found traffic exchange sites and paidtosurf sites that pay people to surf websites. You have to be very careful with these sites because some of them will waste your time and money. Make sure the site you join is not an autosurf system. An autosurf system allows the surfer(viewer) to click the button once and the websites rotate automatically. This allows the viewer to walk away while the sites are rotating and that defeats the whole purpose.
